Honoring the Legacy of Faustine Ndugulile Dr. Faustine Engelbert Ndugulile, the Regional Director-elect for the World Health Organization African Region, has passed away at the age of 55. Dr. Ndugulile had a distinguished career in public service, serving as a Member of Parliament for Kigamboni and holding significant roles such as Assistant Minister of Health and Minister for Information and Communication in Tanzania. His contributions to the health and communication sectors were integral to Tanzania’s development. Earlier in 2024, Dr. Ndugulile was elected to lead the WHO African Region.
