    Since its inception, the Tribeca Immersive Program has focused on showcasing emerging technology, innovative storytelling, and impact-driven narratives — all while supporting artists across the globe who are pushing boundaries in the immersive space. This year, we are proud to partner with two industry leaders, Onassis ONX and Agog: The Immersive Media Institute, to continue that mission. Together, we’ll elevate artists and bring new audiences to this dynamic, growing art form of Immersive. The exhibit will be featured during the 2025 Tribeca Festival, from June 4-15, at WSA and hosted by Water Street Projects, an interdisciplinary non-profit platform that amplifies creative voices.     Check out this excellent article about our TECHNE program in The New York Times. Frank Rose?hung out with us for a week to talk about AI as a creative tool, bringing immersive art to legacy cultural institutions like BAM, and our mission as a platform for art and advanced technologies. ?? “The Vivid Unknown” (Jan 4, 5 & 7): An AI-driven immersive installation by John Fitzgerald?& Godfrey Reggio ?? “The Golden Key” (Jan 8–11): A perpetual mythmaking machine learning installation by Marc Da Costa?& Matthew Niederhauser ?? “Voices” (Jan 12, 14 & 15): A cinematic installation where Victorian mediums meet tech and empowerment by Margarita Athanasiou ?? “Secret Garden” (Jan 16–19): An immersive Installation exploring black women’s stories of resilience by Stephanie Dinkins TECHNE was curated by Onassis ONX, an initiative by Onassis Culture dedicated to the development of new media art and digital experiences. Presented in partnership with Under the Radar and BAM, January 4 through 19, a part of BAM’s Next Wave 2024 and Emerging Visions, as well as Under the Radar ‘25.

    Looking back at Group Hug, our groundbreaking exhibition of large-scale, site-specific video game installations. Thanks to Artnet News and Vittoria Benzine for this excellent writeup of the show! Group Hug invited visitors to engage in the sensory worlds of each game through sight, sound, and touch. Featuring incredible work from Theo Triantafyllidis, Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, and Tale Of Tales (Auriea Harvey and Micha?l Samyn), the exhibition was presented by Onassis ONX with Water Street Projects and curated in collaboration with Julia Kaganskiy, Serpentine Arts Technologies, and Rhizome.
