Here are three key challenges: Reducing Lag Time: Every leader wants to minimize the time between decision-making, execution, and seeing results. However, achieving this is often easier said than done. Conflict in Decision-Making: There's a tension between the need for rapid execution and the decision-making process. Quick decisions made by a small strategic group often lead to significant effort later to convince others to accept and adopt these decisions, as they were not involved in the process. Understanding Strategy: Many leaders struggle with understanding strategic principles, particularly how to create value or impact. This results in inconsistent or unclear answers within the organization about how value is created, leading to varied interpretations and assumptions.
