Sound the Alarm for Wilbraham Fire Department! On Scene, LLC is excited to announce a Spencer custom pumper is in the design phase for Wilbraham Fire Department! A very special thanks to Chief Andrews and the Wilbraham Fire Department for trusting On Scene and Spencer Manufacturing to build their custom firefighting apparatus. Some of its key features include: ? Spartan Metro Star MFD10 4-door cab ? 1000-gallon custom poly tank with 20-gallons foam ? Hale QMAX 1500 GPM single stage pump ? Hale Smartfoam 2.1A Foam System ? Low hosebed design ? Custom-extruded aluminum body We also want to extend our thanks to the apparatus committee for thoroughly evaluating and acknowledging the advantages of Spencer’s high-quality construction and design, along with their customer-focused approach as a family-owned manufacturer from Michigan. We are hoping to host a Hale Pump class at our facility in Smithfield, RI in early 2025. The course will be over 2.5 days and include pump theory, pump operation, pump maintenance, gearboxes, impellers, pump electronics, governors and tank level gauges. We are looking for (16) attendees and we will be providing coffee/pastry, beverages, and lunch each day. Please let us know if you have an interest in attending.
