It was a privilege to manage this event where On Prem Events and Experiences had the opportunity to develop a comprehensive strategy and identify key outcomes for Towerscope.

Highlights and Foibles from Towerscope's Lead Forward Exchange last night: My top 3 Highlights: 1. On Prem Events and Experiences helped me design and implement a memorable and unique experience to bring the Towerscope Leadership Academy's online community into a live learning and networking experience for women leaders and disruptors in STEM, academia, technology, and entrepreneurship! 2. I was so honored to have Executive Directors Tiamesha Walker-Smith, Ed.D. of ATHENA of the Triangle and Aynsley Szczesniak and Speak Out Sisterhood serve as both guest panelists and co-sponsors. Together with additionally inspiring panel speakers Kate Scott, MS, MBA, Michelle Proctor, Dr. Mara Becker, and Ranya Hahn, their collective stories were vulnerable, relatable, and inspiring and helped participants immediately connect and feel at ease. 3. The follow-up speed exchange was so fun and rewarding. I got a chance to connect people within and across industries and at various stages of their leadership journey to help each person make real connections with at least 12 other people - more than you can typically count on at larger events! My 2 Behind-the-Scenes Foibles: 1. I had completely overscheduled myself the day of the event (and the whole week before) leaving me minimal wiggle room to address last minute changes or prep! That same day, I co-facilitated an all-day intense "team repair retreat", followed by a 1-hr kick-off of a new group coaching cohort, and then immediately drove over to this event. WHYYYY do I do this to myself??? Why do I never learn? (It's clearly because I'm rewarded too often for pulling things like this off anyway....) Thank goodness for On Prem Events and Experiences and Olivia Nadasan who were my right and left-hand all-woman team-who-made-the-dream work. 2. The night before, I had dragged into the event space all kinds of random boxes I had ordered from Amazon to provide snacks, pens, paper, etc. When On Prem Events and Experiences dug through them to prepare the room, the pulled out several boxes of espresso pods ?? I was so busy, I had barely opened those bags I dragged in. They were cracking me up making jokes about all the potential things they could have found in my Amazon purchases - thank goodness it was just espresso pods - HAH! Were you there? What highlights and/or foibles did you experience at the event (or before or after)?
