Our Christkindlmarket on Broadway opened for the season last week! Now in its 3rd year, this festive, traditional German-style street market includes 20+ vendors, food and wonderful weekly programming. The event is located on Hubbard St and the adjacent green space, Red Sculpture Park. It happens Fridays 4-9pm and Saturdays 10am - 3pm until December 21. Thank you to our 2024 event sponsors! Our Green Bay Public Market team has been beyond fortunate to have incredible public market partners walking along side of us through this process. Our newest partner, Keisha Harrison is tasked with bringing Madison its own public market and after meeting her this week, we are confident she will succeed. The Green Bay Public Market's VP of Operations, Ron Franklin was spotlighted in the newest issue of Insight Magazine ( Insight Publications ). Adding Ron to the team has allowed us to ramp up our merchant recruitment efforts, as we prep for the Market opening next year. In addition, Ron has become an instrumental part of the construction team, tackling the project's construction as well as working with merchants on their individual buildouts. Ron, as the project's first full-time hire, joins other Green Bay Public Market team members whose roles are split between the Market and On Broadway. They are: Brian Johnson, Brooke Hafs and Mary Rhode.

This week, we unveiled the brand and logos for the Green Bay Public Market! We were pleased to partner with local marketing agency, Element, to bring it to life. The logo package offers multiple options and allows our team to be creative. Perhaps the most unique aspect, is our four characters. These 'mascots' are the first set in a planned series of characters. They are fun, playful and a little funky which perfectly depicts the atmosphere we hope to offer inside the Market. Although some may view it as just a logo, to us, this reveal means continued positive momentum for this catalytic development project.
