A big thank you to Ashley Carman, Lucas Shaw and #Bloomberg for hosting an incredible Business Summit to kick off On Air Fest in Brooklyn last week! It was an honor to be part of such an insightful discussion on the future of podcasting. It was also amazing to see so many of our partners in person and connect on how we can continue to evolve the industry together.
As I shared during the panel, it’s community and fandom that helps define a podcast. Unlike traditional media, where audiences are often passive, podcasting creates an immersive, engaging experience where listeners feel like they’re personally connected to the hosts. That’s what makes podcasts so unique—and it’s exactly why we’re building PAVE Studios to help creators grow strong, multi-platform communities that actually make an impact. With #YouTube now surpassing 1 billion monthly podcast viewers, it’s more clear than ever that video isn’t just part of the equation—it’s driving the future, giving creators even more ways to connect and expand their reach.
Also, a huge shoutout and thank you to Morgan Absher, Kaelyn Moore, and Jemma Sbeg for representing Pave during our panel! It was amazing to hear directly from creators about the importance of staying authentic to their audience and the role video will play in future. What resonated most was their emphasis on the importance of partnerships—creators today need strong, strategic support to continue growing, especially when it comes to building their businesses across platforms and engaging directly with their fans.
We are incredibly lucky to be a studio working with such talented creators who are redefining how they connect with audiences. The future is bright, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!
