Yesterday, Hermann M?rkrid from Liflig hosted a talk on Rust, a programming language enhancing both performance and reliability – a perfect fit for our system! ?? After introducing the motivation behind the language, he delved deeper into how asynchronous programming in Rust works and provided some nifty tips for HTTP, logging and error-handling. Incredible speakers, incredible conversations, and incredible opportunities – Slush 2024 was awe-inspiring! ?? Tobias Drage Roti and Mia Elisenberg went to Helsinki for the world's most founder-focused event. With 13 000 attendees and over 300 side events, the Finnish capital was teeming with passion and inspiration. A warm welcome at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Helsinki kicked off our days in Finland, and the following day, we looked to Norway. The side event by Innovation Norway, together with Startuplab, 6AM, Kupa, and DNB, encouraged the world to set their sights to the Norwegian startup scene. A key message: dare to disrupt ?? Norway is a small country but Norwegian startups don't fear dreaming big. In fact, they're making the dreams come true through dedication and perseverance. We're proud to be a part of this community and can't wait to see what the future holds ?? Thank you to 6AM for making this insightful, inspiring, and motivating trip possible!

I’m incredibly grateful to have Mia Elisenberg on the OmniMod team! ???? After completing her Master’s in Electronic System Design & Innovation at NTNU Trondheim, she took on the challenge with open arms and quickly became an invaluable part of our team. Since joining us this summer, OmniMod has taken major strides forward, and having someone as dedicated and talented as Mia on board has been a true pleasure. Her blend of analytical and creative skills, along with her strong work ethic, makes her a tremendous asset. She’s embraced her role as a business developer with enthusiasm, tackling a steep learning curve and growing every day. Not only is she a decorated ITF taekwondo champion – two-time world champion and three-time Europe champion – but she's also passionate about nature and sports. During her studies, she enhanced editorial and scriptwriting skills through her study association's magazine, Omega Bulletin, and revue.
