On a recent episode of ATARC (Advanced Technology Academic Research Center)’s “Doing Tech Better in Government” podcast, Omni Federal’s Brian Fox, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, was able to sit down with another Omni Federal team member, Jeremy Bracamontes (JB). JB is a seasoned veteran in both military experience and business development. In their discussion, JB discusses his previous military experience and how he broke into the world of digital modernization and his role at Omni Federal. This particular episode was unique in that it talked about JB’s journey from living in a group home as a child, what he experienced in his youth and how he grew up, to his life in the military and his work in cryptology. He went on to work further in intelligence and special operations with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and ultimately to where he is today with Omni Federal as Director of Growth for SOF programs. Brian and JB took a different approach to this particular episode. It allowed them to get on a more personal level with the discussion around JB’s new book: “Resilient: A Story of Group Home Survival.” JB talks about how important it was for him to share his story, to show his children, what his journey was like to where he is today. JB’s story of resilience from a life of survival, moving through a rough system to becoming successful in intelligence and information technology delivers an important message…A message that is powerful in showing what is possible, and the impact you can have on the world. OPMED is an event that brings together military medical officials, leaders and providers in order to discuss the current needs and challenges of the healthcare space. Understanding the educational and modernization needs in the healthcare space is critical in providing our warfighters the care they need to fulfill their missions.
