The Omni Parker House team celebrated Pi Day (3.14) by sharing the sweetness of our original Boston Cream Pie. Our bakery made 314 Boston Cream Pies to “Pi(e) It Forward” in our community by donating to Rosie’s Place, the nation’s first shelter for women that welcomes more than 12,000 women in need each year. From the bakery staff to the team that personally hand delivered the 314 pies at Rosie’s, we were #AllIn for a great cause. 360PRplus also personally dropped off Boston Cream Pies to local news stations, earning a Pi Day segment on WFXT-TV (FOX) and WCVB-TV (ABC). A huge congrats to William Craig for being named Manager of the Year! This year threw a few curveballs our way, and when assistance was needed, Will stepped up without hesitation. Will cleaned guest rooms, supervised operations, and even served multiple weddings. For the past several months, Will has also taken on the role of Interim Director of Finance and has done a fantastic job. Additionally, Will facilitated the implementation of new systems, assisted with task force assignments and has become a mentor for others on his team. Congratulations to our Manager of the Fourth Quarter, Marshall Feeney! Marshall began his Omni career almost one year ago in March 2023 as our Lobby Ambassador. He then was quickly promoted to Food and Beverage Supervisor in May 23, and then Banquet Manager in March 24. ? Marshall has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth and excelled guest experience in the Banquets Department. He has demonstrated his leadership skills and enthusiasm for the role to his team. The Omni Parker House continues to Grow the Garden! Please congratulate our internal promotions; Laura Zavrl and Yenifer Mayor. Laura Zavrl has been promoted to Associate Services Manager. Laura, our most recent 2024 Culture Warrior, has been in the HR department for 3.5 years starting as an Omni Care Intern in 2021, quickly moving to a HR Coordinator, HR Generalist and now management. Yenifer Mayor has been promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager. Yenifer started March 2024 as a Front Desk Agent and has gained knowledge and confidence quickly. She is a favorite with our guests and is ready for this next move in her hospitality career. Congratulations to you both! Well earned and deserved!
