Despite the weather on Sunday, Boone County Public Library cut the ribbon on its new Walton Branch library! Over 400 members of the community came out to celebrate the occasion and get their first look at the new library. Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and made the ribbon cutting so special! The community’s excitement and support show how important public libraries still are, providing a space for learning, connection, and growth. This new branch is more than just a place for books—it’s a hub for everyone. As BCPL captured in this video, the construction of a new building takes time and patience. Our goal is to make it worth the wait!
