关于我们
Launched in May 2012 by the Hawai?i Leadership Forum, the Omidyar Fellows program seeks to cultivate the conditions in which Hawai‘i thrives by equipping leaders with the skills and cross-sector relationships necessary to collectively affect societal change. Developed over several years, the program is based on global best practices in leadership development and has been customized for leaders in Hawai‘i. It is comprised of a 15-month curriculum and an ongoing and enduring commitment to the Forum of Fellows. The curriculum is designed to build stronger leaders, more effective organizations, and cross-sector connections. It includes a full-day session once a month, with the exception of three two-day Retreats and a two-month window during which Individual Learning Excursions take place. One-on-one executive coaching occurs between sessions, as scheduled by Fellows and their Coaches. Participants are also expected to complete reading, writing, and other exercises. After the initial 15 months, Commencement marks a milestone in which the curriculum portion of the Omidyar Fellows journey concludes. The Cohort then becomes fully engaged in the Forum of Fellows, a collective of Hawai?i-based leaders committed to working together towards a shared vision for our island home. This ongoing and enduring element of the Omidyar Fellows program fosters further collaboration and continues to equip Fellows with skills and supports that enable them to improve the quality of life for Hawai‘i's residents.
