What happens when you think you have your life figured out, but God leads you in a new direction? And what happens when there's still suffering to endure such as a divorce? OMF's Sharon Tang joins Rodney Pennington on a new episode of our podcast to talk about her life... how curiosity about a free gift led her to church one Christmas, her journey as a doctor, and (as you can hear in this audio clip) how a patient of hers making a miraculous recovery showed her who was really in control. A Heart for East Asia podcast is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, or listen on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eVTvSvrd

I am so grateful for Michael Littlefield. He was the OMF (U.S.) President when I joined in 2013. I never got to meet his first wife, LeMei, but I saw how Michael stayed faithful to the Lord through such a difficult time. I appreciate Michael's pastoral heart. He often gave us encouragement from the book of Isaiah. He took personal interest in all of us as staff. Then came Rhonda. The Lord knew they both needed each other. Their wedding was a powerful testimony to God's goodness and faithfulness. I was honored to lead a few worship songs during the service. Michael continues to be an encouragement to me and many others. This podcast will give you a glimpse into how God has used him over many years of faithful service.
Former OMF (U.S.) President and National Director, Michael Littlefield, joins Rodney Pennington on a new episode of "A Heart for East Asia" podcast. Michael shares about how his faith developed and led to a life in missions with his first wife, LeMei. Michael also talks about how God led them through times of great blessings and challenges including LeMei’s death from cancer in 2012. And he updates us on the work he’s now doing with his wife, Rhonda, including ministry to those who have lost loved ones. In this clip, Michael talks about a Campus Crusade event where he heard a challenge he couldn't ignore. “A Heart for East Asia” podcast is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
