Congratulations to Jarod Norris, on his first anniversary with Omega – and what better way to mark the occasion than with a promotion! Jarod started as a Service Desk Technician and is now transitioning to the Professional Services team, where he will assist with IT projects. ? Jarod loves working for Omega. He appreciates everything from helping our clients, to the quarterly team events, and crazy conversations had around the lunchroom table. Above all, he loves the atmosphere of the office. “It feels like I’m working alongside a bunch of friends,” Jarod says. Jarod always knew he was destined to work in IT. It pairs the satisfaction of figuring out complex problems and helping people, which he finds exciting.?? ? Happy one-year anniversary to Service Desk Technician, Eli Quinn! Eli’s ability to troubleshoot, listen, and resolve issues makes him an important asset to our team. Eli found his passion for IT during a high school computer course, and his path became clearer after completing an IT internship in his Senior year. The hands-on experience confirmed that tech was his calling—and he’s been loving it ever since! When Eli’s not solving tech issues, you’ll find him gaming, hiking, or spending quality time with his wife and two cats. He’s also into all sorts of hobbies, including baking, sewing, soldering, and even making jewelry. If there’s a skill he wants to learn, you can bet he’ll dive in and master it! Cheers to Eli! Congratulations to Max Northrop, who is celebrating one year with the Omega! Max is the first connection point when clients call seeking technical support. As our Dispatcher, he manages and coordinates service requests and resources to ensure that operations run smoothly and clients' issues are addressed efficiently. One of Max’s favorite parts of working at Omega is collaborating with the brilliant minds on the team. Every day, there’s something new to learn, and the energy is always high! Max has always had a passion for helping others, which is what drew him to the IT field. He loves simplifying complex concepts and teaching others how to navigate IT challenges. A standout memory from the past year for Max was our quarterly team event at Break Room Therapy, where he got to obliterate an old Mac computer! Outside of the office, Max is actively involved in the eSports community, competing and hosting Fighting Game tournaments in Kalamazoo! ?? He also provides guidance and support to the entire service desk team. Jacob is a proud Detroit Lions football fan and enjoys going to games. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Heather, and they have four spoiled, adorable pets. Outside of the office, Ron loves hitting the open road on his motorcycle. Last summer he embarked on an unforgettable week-long journey along the West Coast, exploring seven states. When he's not on the road, Ron enjoys spending quiet time at home with his wife and two children.
