We‘re excited to welcome Mary Carrick as the new Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Mary brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, community engagement, and development across both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Her most recent roles were with organizations in the beauty and aesthetics, as well as healthcare staffing industries. A lifelong theater enthusiast and arts advocate, Mary is active as a singer and performs regularly with Opera Omaha. She’s been seen on many stages across the Omaha metro over the past two decades, including OCP. “I’m thrilled to join the incredible team at the Omaha Community Playhouse, one of Omaha’s pillar arts institutions and a vibrant thread within the fabric of our cultural community,” said Mary. “My heart has been with the arts from a young age. The opportunity to marry my personal passion with my marketing expertise is a full circle moment. I look forward to championing the OCP, further elevating its visibility across the region, and engaging both current patrons and new audiences. It’s an honor to be part of OCP’s 100th year and to contribute to its next chapter.” In her new role, Mary will oversee all marketing and public relations efforts, including branding, media relations, digital marketing, and audience engagement.
