    I found myself curious about Labor Day today and the history of it, so I decided to look it up (link in comments if you’re curious too). As I dug into the origins of Labor Day, I found myself reflecting on the significance of this day and the people who have shaped this country through their hard work (especially being in the field of recruiting for over 10 years) It made me think of someone very close to my heart—my dad. For as long as I’ve been alive, my dad has been a physical labor employee, working on factory lines and in various roles that demand strength and perseverance. This year, he retired after decades of service. And today, on Labor Day, I’m filled with deep gratitude for his dedication and impact and the countless others who contribute through their hard physical work. In honor of Labor Day, I’m choosing to immerse myself in my spiritual studies—a practice I hold with deep reverence, passion, and devotion. It’s my way of remembering and celebrating the hard work and dedication that runs through my family and this country.
