Last week, our DFW Assistant Managers, Business Managers, and Fort Worth Home Office Olympians came together to attend the 2025 Ignite Conference?hosted by the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. Our team immersed themselves in a full day of breakout sessions, connected with fellow industry professionals, and were inspired by exceptional keynote speakers Seb Terry?and Rachel Sheerin, CPBA. Focused on continuous education within the multifamily industry, the conference left our Olympians energized and equipped with new knowledge to bring back to their DFW communities! What made this event even more special was the involvement of two of our very own Olympians: Lisa Clark, CAM, CAPS, President of Apartment Operations and the 2025 AAGD President, who presented and introduced the event, and Geoffrey Gonzales, CAM, CAPS, NAAEI Faculty, Regional Vice President of Operations and the 2025 AAGD Education Committee Chair, who played a key role in hosting and organizing this prestigious conference. Last week, our Learning and Development department proudly hosted the 2025 Training Ambassador Kickoff Event, bringing together 78 onsite team members from across our communities. Each year, a select group of outstanding Olympians are chosen to participate in our Training Ambassador program, which spans the entire year. This program pairs seasoned Olympians with new hires to create a more personalized and comprehensive onboarding and training experience. These exceptional team members truly embody the spirit of Olympus Property and are the epitome of what it means to be an Olympian! ? The event equipped our 2025 Training Ambassadors with new tools, curriculum, and insights on becoming the best mentors and how to effectively lead and train their mentees. As #Teamwork is one of our core values, the event placed a strong emphasis on how to be a supportive and effective teammate and mentor to new Olympians. Our TAs shared ideas, exchanged knowledge, and participated in group activities designed to challenge and enhance their teaching skills. Earlier this month, team members from our Florida region came together to participate in the annual Spikes for Tykes Volleyball tournament, hosted by the Bay Area Apartment Association. The event supported the Children's Home Network, an organization dedicated to helping at-risk families and children in Central Florida. For 12 years, BAAA has proudly sponsored this incredible event, consistently going above and beyond to provide valuable resources to their community. ??
