Suddenly, your current employer comes back with a tempting counteroffer. Should you take it? Here’s why most career experts, advise against it: 1. The Root Problem Still Exists If you were ready to leave, something wasn’t working—whether it was the role, the culture, growth opportunities, or compensation.
