On Saturday, October 26, Olive Crest in the Pacific Northwest celebrated the lives transformed through our mission at the annual Glam for Good Gala & Auction—and what a night it was! One of the most powerful moments was hearing Adalind share her personal story, a heartfelt reminder of how your support provides children with the love and care they deserve. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised $619,000 to directly fund programs that support families and children in crisis. Together, we are making a real difference. Last month, during their special Hispanic Heritage Weekend celebration, Northgate Market rolled out the red carpet for Olive Crest families in San Diego during a special night cheering on the San Diego Padres ?? thanks to Northgate Market for their generous hospitality start to finish. A special shoutout to Padres pitcher, Jason Adams, and his wife Kelsey, for absolutely making the kids’ day by inviting them to practice before the game. Jason was so kind and signed everything in sight. They’re still talking about it! We’re grateful for these community partners who are creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for Olive Crest kids!

The staggering truth… ? Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for adolescents ages 10-19, which disproportionately affects children experiencing trauma ? 20% of youth, ages 12-17, reported suffering from at least one major depressive episode in the last year ? 48.3% of youth reported an unmet need for mental health treatment in 2022 These statistics are alarming, but Olive Crest is committed to Strengthening Children and Families in Crisis by expanding mental health services and counseling in homes, schools, and counseling centers. On Tuesday, September 24th, we broke ground on the first ever, Olive Crest owned, apartment homes in Santa Ana, CA ?? Anticipated to open in Winter 2025 and the first of 5 apartment homes across Southern California & Nevada, will aid our fight in preventing teen homelessness and equipping them for a lifetime of success. We are so excited to watch this project come to life and cannot thank our community of supporters, donors, volunteers, and families who have made this all possible ?

What an honor to partner with TCWGlobal, and their new restaurant BoujieMana! In August, the team dedicated a portion of restaurant sales to help end child abuse in San Diego by supporting Olive Crest. Thanks to the incredible staff, patrons, and our favorite mascot, Cooper, for making this possible!

This year, our generous community allowed us to pass out over 4,300 backpacks to kids and teens. Dylan, pictured here, was one of them who started third grade with a brand new Spider-Man backpack and all the supplies he needs for a successful year.
