Our statewide Old North State Trust team enjoyed our annual company meeting at the beautiful Steven Tanger Performing Arts Center! Aside from your typical company updates, we enjoyed Ice cream sundaes and a Behind the Scenes Tour! A shoutout to our extraordinary colleague, Elisabeth Bishop, for earning the 2024 Heritage Award! The Heritage Award was created in memory of Ovide E. de St. Aubin, the father of Denis (CEO), Tam, and Alyce. The award is an opportunity to highlight and acknowledge the outstanding contributions of our teammates who consistently demonstrate the company's core values in their daily work. ONST's core values mirror Mr. de St. Aubin's and his vision and legacy for the company.

This is certainly a time that actions speak louder than words. The devastation that Hurricane Helene has brought to so many is truly unbelievable. There is so much immediate need, and there will be need for months and years to come. Lives, businesses, and entire communities have been lost. The economic hardship that this has caused is literally hard to fathom. Logistics are difficult at this time, and donations go a long way to put support where it’s needed most. On Saturday, September 21st, Old North State Trust sponsored the Selfie Station for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's- Iredell Co. & Lake Norman. Thank you Royce and Paul for representing ONST and bringing Chick-fil-a for the participants. The event exceeded their goal and raised $75,000 to go towards research for the Alzheimer's Association.
