Old Dominion Insulation received an emergency call to help support MCV Medical Center. The scope included a need for Heat Trace and Insulation for their potable water supply so that the hospital could continue running water. Our team exemplified Do What You Say You Will Do (DWYSYWD) at a moment's notice. DrillCore, Old Dominion Heat Trace and Old Dominion Insulation all worked together through the cold night. It's incredible to see our teams making a real difference and serving our community!

ODHT recently completed a project in Washington, DC that involved additional challenges. The scope involved working with our partner Old Dominion Insulation to install heat trace on chiller pipes, securing cords, and ensure proper insulation and jacketing. It was crucial to ensure proper training and procedures with the man-lift crane operator to ensure everyone's safety while working on the pipes at such high altitudes! At ODHT, we consistently strive to guarantee the best quality work for all of our customers’ heat tracing needs.

Through diligence and dedication to safety, Old Dominion Insulation in Virginia Beach earned the STEP Platinum Award from ABC Virginia Chapter. This is an honor and reflection of ODG’s focus on safety. Safety is always our number one priority for our field teams, and we are proud to receive the highest level of safety in the program.

The Apprenticeship Program is truly paving the way to increased knowledge, skills, and success for each apprentice and journeyman. We had a great time celebrating our Northern Virginia apprentices.
