We agree, Madison is a great place to spend a long weekend! Thank you Jen Ruiz and Destination Madison for highlighting Olbrich Botanical Gardens!
Have you heard the term “destination dupe”? It’s a phrase used in the travel and tourism industry that indicates a place or city to visit that offers amenities similar to another well-known spot but might be easier to access, more affordable, hold fewer people or be a domestic destination rather than international. Well, Jen Ruiz came back to Destination Madison for a repeat visit to really experience all of the incredible, worldly offerings you can experience here, without traveling out of the US. Her blog references how you can: ?? Experience India at KOSA Wellness Spa & Retreat ?? Taste the flavors of Laos at Ahan Restaurant ?? Visit a Latin American market at El Mercadito ?? Try an elevated take on a German supper club at The Harvey House ?? Get views like you’re in D.C. at the Park Hotel ?? Shop like an Italian at Alimentari ?? Travel to Thailand at Olbrich Botanical Gardens ??read more about these amazing spots: https://lnkd.in/gGFtJvFN #destinationmadison #madisonwisconsin #destinationdupe #travel #tourism

We just had two spectacular nights of GLEAM with Cycropia Aerial Dance. The gardens came to life with art installations and aerial performances. Not to mention the Royal Thai Pavilion was shining bright! Next year we will celebrate 10 years of GLEAM: Art in a New Light. Request for proposals is now open. Help us celebrate 10 years of lighting up the gardens with a light installation of your own. Share with your creative friends, colleagues, and more! Haven't visited this year's GLEAM exhibition? Visit now through October 26, 2024. https://lnkd.in/giysq9Ki
