??Guests at the 27th Annual Autumn Breakfast on Friday, November 15, were greeted with high fives, handshakes and pom poms from many of Olathe’s High School mascots & cheerleaders. This early morning brought out many community partners, OPS administrators, and board members to network and raise $232,000 that will continue to help the students, teachers and staff in our district to make every day count. ??Sunnyside third graders, Canyon Creek Choir, Olathe South Southside Singers, and Indian Trail Cougar Singers entertained us with some of the district’s best performances. Cindy VonFeldt, executive director of OPSF, and Caitlin Knute, KSHB 41 News anchor emceed the morning and introduced a text-to-give campaign providing student eye exams and glasses that raised over $22,000. ??Olathe Public Schools superintendent, Brent Yeager, updated attendees with the State of the District Address, highlighting all the amazing achievements by award winning teachers, new buildings, students, and staff our district has accomplished and looking forward to what the future holds for our district. ??We are so thankful for the sponsors that support us.
