Last week, Fifth-Year students, accompanied by Professors Richardson and Mitchell, traveled to Boston where they presented their preliminary designs for Beacon Park Yard to several prominent firms and the Boston Planning Department. Our COO, Kate Cofer, AIA, is sharing her expertise with students at Oklahoma State University School of Architecture!?For the third year in a row, she’s serving as an adjunct professor for Architecture Practice Management, preparing future architects with essential knowledge in ethics, professional regulation, branding and marketing, team management, financial considerations, and more. ? The School of Architecture in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University features a student organization dedicated to sharing their inspiration and passion for architecture. Architecture Students Teaching Elementary Kids (ASTEK) is geared toward showing elementary students how shapes and math fit into the architecture design process. Hannah Graham, a third-year architecture design major and the current president of ASTEK, initially got involved as a first-year student. She has served in various roles with the group and has a passion for volunteering. She also enjoys being able to share how architecture brings artistic skills to the table, as she herself wanted to be an artist as a kid.
