This week our annual skills fair kicked off with a fiesta theme. This gives our clinical staff an opportunity to stay current on best practices, new developments, and regulations. There are multiple fun and interactive stations where they can get hands-on experience and interact at their own pace. And there may be some snacks involved as well!

??OSH Spotlight?? - Shaunda, PACU RN Shaunda celebrates her 8th year at #OSH this month and when asked what keeps her coming back to work each week, she said: "I feel very supported and appreciated at OSH. Dr. Higgins (pictured below) and Dr. Cha are excited to announce the addition of a new service line at #OSH to better support our cardiac patients after a cardiac event or procedure.?Cardiac Rehab is a medically supervised program designed to improve cardiovascular heath following a cardiac emergency or in some cases chronic cardiac conditions. During cardiac rehab, patients will work with a team of healthcare professionals who will create a personalized plan to meet their specific needs. This may include physical therapy to include exercise goals and programs, dietary guidance, and stress management.?Some of our cardiac rehab team is pictured below.
