Antibiotic resistance (AR) is one of the most urgent threats to public health. AR refers to bacteria that have learned how to evade certain antibiotics. This does not mean that a person is resistant to treatment with antibiotics, it means bacteria can easily share what they know about resistance to antibiotics, even across differing types of bacteria. It is more important, now than ever, that everyone rallies together to do their part in fighting antimicrobial resistance. Start by joining in this year’s US Antibiotic Awareness Week by learning more at https://lnkd.in/gYbWNB_v and https://lnkd.in/gbaRC4GX. #USAAW24
