Colorado’s Gross Reservoir Expansion Project?will?raise the existing dam by 131 ft to nearly triple the reservoir’s capacity, making it the largest dam raise in the U.S. and largest roller compacted #concrete (RCC) dam raise worldwide. Construction includes placement of 118 RCC steps from the existing structure to the new dam crest.
