Yesterday was a newsworthy day, indeed! Ali Meyer, lead anchor for KFOR news interviewed me and some of my patients because I was one of the first surgeons worldwide to implant the iDose post-FDA approval. This device lowers eye pressure and helps patients stop using drops by releasing medicine directly into the eye instead of as an eyedrop on the surface. I was a lead investigator in both phase 2 and phase 3 clinicial trials, which made this day particularly sweet.
