(????????) has continued to create valuable opportunities for all our employees. In November 2024, we hosted the fifth global ???????? ?????????????? ??????????????, drawing an excellent live audience—both in person and virtually—of over 100 employees. This inspiring event featured our very own ?????? ???????????? ?????????? ???? ??????????????????????????, highlighted through an engaging informational video. This week, our team participated in the Energy Workforce & Technology Council's Washington D.C. Fly-in event. Energy Workforce Members spent several days on Capitol Hill connecting with government leaders, supporting the energy services and technology sector, and engaging in conversations that will shape energy policy in America. Oil States Closes on Facility Sale and Repurchases Shares to Enhance Stockholder Value During our last earnings call, Oil States highlighted significant advancements in our long-term strategy. One of the highlights included a spotlight on our offshore and international operations which are a core of our business: ?? Offshore and International operations accounted for ~65% of revenues in Q3, while U.S. domestic land accounted for 35%. Further enhancements to our long-term strategy were also announced, including: ?? Business unit optimization, exit of certain U.S. underperforming business lines and locations. ?? Continued investment in cutting-edge new technologies including Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems. ?? Generating free cash flow to facilitate growth and enhancement of stockholder returns. Latest Updates! Oil States is pleased to announce that it has completed the sale of a previously idled facility generating net proceeds of $24.8 million. Oil States has also repurchased 1.5 million shares of its common stock for consideration totaling $7.9 million during the fourth quarter. Cindy B. Taylor, President and CEO, stated, “The consolidation of our Houston operations and completion of the sale of our Houston Ship Channel facility combined with the repurchase of our common stock adds momentum to the execution of our long-term strategy and demonstrates our commitment to enhance stockholder value. Seadrill and Oil States announce a strategic collaboration to revolutionize offshore Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations! This non-exclusive strategic collaboration combines Oil States’ award-winning MPD Integrated Riser Joint (IRJ) system with Seadrill’s high-spec, high performance fleet, enabling Seadrill to take big steps towards a standardized MPD capability across all operations across their entire fleet. The Oil States IRJ is more compact, lighter, safer to handle, allows the rig to remain on well center while testing/retrieving bearing seals, and provides extended seal life. These features will reduce rig up time and NPT for operational efficiency gains and provide Seadrill with a strategic advantage. Oil States is proud to support Seadrill in their aim to set new standards in MPD operations which will unlock new oil and gas reserves safely and efficiently to meet global energy demands.
