Labor Day is coming up, and recycling helps the local economy, creates jobs, and supports American manufacturing. In Ohio, 80% of recycled materials stay in the region (and 95% stay in the Midwest), where they are made into new products. Recycling also generates more jobs than landfilling. Increasing the US recycling rate from 32% to 75% would create 1.1 million new jobs! Join AOR in recycling daily to support local manufacturing, a growing economy, and a resilient community.
