Ohio Reaches Major H2Ohio Milestone! Investing in Reliable Water Infrastructure Aqua Ohio is launching a $1.1 million water main replacement project in Struthers to upgrade nearly 5,000 feet of aging pipeline. The Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) has awarded over $13.4 million in low-interest loans to 14 Ohio communities this January, aiming to enhance wastewater and drinking water infrastructure statewide. Notable projects include Columbus's sanitary sewer upgrades to reduce overflows and backups, and Licking Regional Water District's expansion to increase treatment capacity from 3.0 to 5.0 million gallons per day.
