Experiential learning is in our DNA.
Learning by doing is a critical part of entrepreneurship education. That's why I enjoyed yesterday's transition between project one and project two in our MGT 3730 Entrepreneurial Consulting class. Teams are finalizing their project one presentations and reports for organizations like Snowville Creamery, Gainor Sports, Seek-No-Further Cidery, Atlas Travel, Common Soul Music, and Southeast Ohio Hope Center. Meanwhile, new teams are forming to start project two, working with Shagbark Seed & Mill, Trip Bikes, Hickory Farm, Oh You! Design Agency, Idaho Mythweaver & Atlas Travel. Projects range from recommending new product lines to seeking out new customer segments and assisting with marketing. Truly, at Ohio University & Ohio University College of Business experiences are required! Thank you to all the project sponsors Chris MacNeal, Aaron Kirby, Andy Piggott, Garrett Huber, Ronnie McDole, Anna Shields, Brian Gainor, Nathaniel Berger, Erin Rennich, Paul Ruminski, Gregg Corso, Moira Rosenbaum, David Kirch, and Jane Fritz. Just in case... I am always looking for new projects and will lead the class in the Fall semester.
