CHWC is launching our Career Pathway Programs Across the Nation Series! Join our virtual webinars exploring innovative workforce solutions from across the country, starting on September 4th at 9am CT! We’ll learn about Ohio State University Physicians' (OSUP) programs to upskill frontline staff to become certified medical assistants or licensed practical nurses in partnership with Stepful. Stepful has built a training program that combines best practice pedagogies such as live instructors, peer study groups, and coaches, with the accessibility of an online, user-friendly platform. The result is industry-leading outcomes at a fraction of the cost. Through these pipeline programs, OSUP and Stepful are filling 8 vacancies per month on average, and have improved retention by 80%. Last week, #OSUPhysicians HR Generalist Kayla and HR Recruiter Drew visited the dedicated teams from our Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology Departments at the Ohio State Eye and Ear Institute. During our clinic walkthroughs, we connected with the managers and staff from each department, observed the latest technology and procedures, and gained insights into the comprehensive eye care and ENT services offered. These annual visits offer a unique perspective into the daily operations of our clinics, while also highlighting the passionate individuals who deliver exceptional patient care every day.
