SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY Cincinnati State William N. Eickenhorst Memorial Scholarship Cincinnati State Technical and Community College students in certain degree and certificate programs in business pathways could qualify for this great scholarship which covers most all student costs at the college.

SW Tech Prep is Hiring! Southern State Community College-Regional Tech Prep Coordinator In this role they will be working with career tech leaders at US Grant Career Center, Southern Hills Career Center, Adams County/Ohio Valley Career Center, and Great Oaks Career Development Campuses, with a pay rate of $28 to $30 per hour.

On Friday 11/1 Miami University Regionals Engineering Department Faculty, Staff, and Students met with Industry and Education partners at their Advisory Council Meeting. Sessions focused on degree programs, departmental educational objectives, the ABET accreditation visit that will take place next summer, and the planning work underway for the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce and Innovation Hub. The meeting concluded with an opportunity to tour the renovations taking place at the Hub with Messer Construction Co. The ENT Department appreciates their advisory council partners who are willing to share their expertise, experience, and perspective with ENT faculty and staff-guiding the department's mission and vision going forward. It was a privilege to attend the Ohio Excels's 2024 Aim Hire Workforce and Education Conference! The opening session set the tone for a day full of insights and inspiration. Kicking off the conference, Lisa Gray (President, Ohio Excels), Baiju Shah (President and CEO, Greater Cleveland Partnership & Board Chair, Ohio Excels), Mike Duffey (Chancellor, Ohio Department of Higher Education), Steve Dackin (Director, Ohio Department of Education and Workforce), and Lt. Governor Jon Husted shared their perspectives on the importance of collaboration in building a strong workforce pipeline in Ohio.
