Another packed room for our monthly Ohio Business Brokers Association luncheon meeting today. We had the honore to have one of the coolest and neat speakers you could have for an event, Justin Hinderer who shared valuable nuggets of wisdom to the group in the sale of one his former businesses Toy Barn. It was an insightful share especially with the type of work we mostly do in the business ownership transfer and sales world. Thank you to Bob Brooks for coordinating to have Justin speak to the group and for sharing a Best Practice topic. Thank you Matt Valantine for discussion on our Mastermind and Broker Deal XChange meetings. I had the bonus to also reconnect with old friends Krista Culbert, Asa Burke, M.S., Alan Abouhassan. So good to see everyone to enjoy Justin's talks.

Twas the night before Closing, when all through the office. Not a creature was making copies of contracts, not even a quick text. The purchase agreements are all now sitting in the conference room with care. In hopes that SBA Banker soon, she would be there. The night before, the sellers were nestled all snug in their beds While visions of retirement from the business danc’d in their heads And business buyers reviewing their business plans? Had just settled to firm up their business purchase with 401K rollover funds When Out in the lobby there arose such a clatter It’s?Business Broker?cramming for the year end business closing.?Much anticipation after a 9-month listing… Well you get the message right??As I send this message out knowing Christmas this year is in the middle of the week, I know there are still some of you, nestled in their desks, getting your docs ready for the year end close. I want to take this time to wish you all a Merry Christmas and wish that you are able to appreciate the wonders and joys of this season.?It's been a busy year and an interesting one to experience especially with the election year and all the global evolution taking place. I appreciate that majority of our monthly association meetings this year have been packed-rooms and I thank you for your active participation and collaboration with each other.?
