We are excited to announce the upcoming ICFMH Training School, focusing on "Date Marking from Laboratory to Industrial Applications." This event is organized by the International Committee of Food Microbiology and Hygiene (ICFMH) in collaboration with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (Spain). Event Details: ???Dates:?June 30 – July 2, 2025 ???Location:?National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece ?? About the Training School:?This three-day program aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and industrial practices in date marking. Participants will engage in both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, covering: - Fundamentals of predictive microbiology and safety by design - Microbial growth and inactivation modeling - Hands-on activities with modeling software tools - Insights into EFSA's scientific opinion on date marking - Guidelines for conducting challenge tests ?????Who Should Apply:?We welcome applications from motivated PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, and MSc students working on relevant research topics.
