OAQDA recently issued more than $22 million in bond financing to support clean air and energy-efficiency improvements as part of developing the Elliott Parc Apartments, a multi-family residential project on Morse Road in Columbus.?? ? This project, led by Betty Jane’s Best, LLC, an affiliate of The Stonehenge Company, will provide approximately $296,000 in annual energy cost savings for residents! ??? ? In 2023, OAQDA supported energy reduction measures?for Innomark Communications' new digital facility in Springboro. In a recent article in Manufacturing Today, Innomark Executive Vice President Steve Zick says, “The new 100,000 square-foot unit is already providing a more energy-efficient and purpose-built environment for our existing digital print equipment. The building earned Clean Air Project certification from the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, ensuring it’s fit to support our operation as we enter the next generation of digital print technology.”? ? On National Dry Cleaning Day, we’re highlighting Midtown Dry Cleaners, a second-generation, family-owned business in New Philadelphia. In 2022, Midtown partnered with OAQDA to replace outdated machines that used a chemical identified as a health risk.
