Warehouses are one of the biggest factors in wetland loss in our area. #Wetlands provide important environmental functions, including but not limited to pollution filtration, fish and wildlife habitat, groundwater recharge, and flood control. Paving over these resources not only removes this control and absorption, the impervious surfaces speed up stormwater and exacerbate flooding if left unmitigated. These major, long-term impacts to the environment outweigh any benefit that would come from adding additional warehouse space to an already-saturated market. Contact your commission and council today. Tell them no more #warehouses are needed.

Throwback to 1941 in Statesboro, Georgia, and the filling of paper sacks with hot rosin at a turpentine works, likely being inspected as America anticipated joining Allied forces in WWII. Turpentine is derived from pine trees to make solvents, fuel, cleansers, and more.
