The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth kicked off their Panther Den competition for young real estate professionals last week and we are proud to have been the event sponsor! Two of the Big Dog pack are competing in the competition to create a mixed-use, urban core friendly development idea for the Mansfield LinQ, described by the Mansfield Economic Development Corporation as "the city’s up-and-coming Innovation Corridor and the the sole innovation center south of the DFW metroplex putting the world within reach for industry-leading businesses while offering a premier living destination and entertainment district to attract a well-educated and skilled talent pool." We are incredibly proud to announce that in starting today the Ofi Chito Opportunities Fund will be supporting students who are balancing work and education on their path to academic success. Working in partnership with the CHAHTA FOUNDATION this annual competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are seeking their associate or bachelor’s degree and will help the selected student with education related expenses twice a year. Last week we spent an afternoon with City of Fort Worth Development Services learning about how we can maximize opportunities to speed up permitting and entitlements processes and best work with their internal teams. The visit included a tour of the new city hall, deep dives into topics like Zoning, Stormwater, Infrastructure Plan Reviews, and Public-Private Contracts. Thanks to the The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth for the invite and facilitation!

Mohawk Industries is helping to amplify the mission of rhino conservation in partnership with the Rhinory in Fredericksburg, having raised over $100,000 so far. This Sunday, September 22nd is World Rhino Day, a day dedicated to the conservation of the five species of rhino left in the world today.
