Where does a rock and roll company like SmileMD go to collaborate and celebrate with rock star dentists who share our passion for improving dental care access for underserved Medicaid kids? To Cleveland’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame of course! We were privileged to support and attend the Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s (OAPD) Annual Session this past Friday. On behalf of SmileMD, we want to thank all the amazing pediatric dentists who have supported us in Ohio over the years and have helped us advocate for the underserved pediatric populations who often struggle to get much needed dental care. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Thank you again to OAPD’s President, Dr. Kyle Jackson DDS, Dr. Jen Bryk Hechko, DDS, Dr. Homa Amini, DDS, Dr. Margaret Ferretti and the other members of OAPD for a great session. Thank you also to great, longstanding partners like Dr. Kari Cunningham of Panther Pediatrics, Dr.’s Kyle Muir and Kashif Bhatti from Lakota Pediatric dentistry and so many other amazing dentists who have generously supported SmileMD in OH over the years and who made us feel right at home at the OAPD event. Taking on such an important mission as helping connect underserved Medicaid kids to quality dental care is a difficult challenge but made so much easier when we can collaborate with amazing, dedicated and empathetic dental leaders like OAPD members. On behalf of our team at OFFOR Health and SmileMD, I want to thank everyone at SSPD for an amazing 3 days in Atlanta at the annual conference for Pediatric Dentists. Thanks also to Chris Eliff and Jenna DeMatteo for their commitment, assistance and energy at the event. Our team left the conference energized by all of the commitment, compassion and energy that this group has for helping improve the lives of young patients across the Southeast. Given SmileMD's focus on the young Medicaid patient population, we were profoundly moved by all of the interest in and support of our innovative in-office general anesthesia sedation solution. We met amazing folks from the markets we currently serve and passionate and interested pediatric leaders in markets we'd love to serve.
