Michael Sati is not only an expert at creating visually stunning content he’s consistently pushing passed his comfort zone and fearlessly testing new content styles. Case in point: he actively sought out the challenge of launching a brand new city and did all the hard work to move from NSH to ATX including finding and persuading Anas Saba to step into his role in NSH ?? The way he actively seeks out moments of connection with our members and partners (current or future) goes well beyond the SMM job description. This promotion means Michael Sati will be leading the charge on reaching our New Market Partner content creation and follower growth goals in Austin and San Antonio while helping to train our new SMMs in those markets. Here's the story: ----- In 2022, we became the first company in North Carolina doing $1M in ARR to announce an equity crowdfunding round. In 60 days we raised an oversubscribed $2.4M round from 700 investors, 80% of whom were paying Offline Members. From that moment on, we fell in love with the idea of building our company in tandem with the community that uses it. Nothing is more rewarding as a team than knowing that your customers love your product enough to become investors themselves. It motivates us every day to build something enduring. Today, we become the first company in North Carolina doing $2M in ARR to announce an equity crowdfunding round. During our "Friends and Family" phase, we've already had hundreds of Offline Members and restaurant partners participate, and today we're opening the round up to the public and to anyone else who wants to be part of our journey. In the last year, we've doubled revenue, expanded to Nashville and Tampa Bay, and continued to prove that consumers and businesses all over the world need a product that pushes them to explore their city. I'm incredibly proud of what our team has built and grateful for the support we continue to receive from our investors and the Offline community. I'm thrilled to announce that?Stephen Larson is joining Offline full-time as our Chief Revenue Officer. Steve and I met more than a decade ago when he was guest-lecturing at North Carolina State University's entrepreneurship program and I was a student. Over the years he became a close friend, advisor, investor, and board observer. As I told him recently, a lot of Offline advisors have come and gone over the years, and he's the only one that's been with me the whole time because there's never been a problem I've faced that he hasn't had some key insight into how to solve. The stars aligned recently to actually work together and we both jumped on the opportunity. I've never felt more optimistic about Offline's future than right now. 2024 is going to be an incredible year.
