On Thursday, Treasury staff volunteered with Community Servings to prepare and package over 900 meals for people throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island who have chronic illnesses that diets can help. Did you know that Treasury employees are allotted 7.5 hours of voluntary time every month to volunteer with an organization of their choice or join us on our monthly volunteer opportunities? This week is National Stress Awareness Week. Did you know that 95% of working Americans experience stress at work? Treasury is proud to have an Employee Resource Group devoted to Mental Health. This group is a space for employees to discuss their own mental health and find support from their fellow members.

Today is National Day of Community Service! To celebrate, we wanted to highlight our Monthly Voluntary Service Time. Each month, Treasury employees have 7.5 hours to use towards volunteering opportunities. Employees can utilize these hours with The Treasury's monthly HR hosted volunteer events around the greater Boston area or utilize them for an opportunity in their community.

November is Veterans and Military Families Month and to celebrate we want to highlight our Veterans' Bonus Division! This division of the Treasury provide bonus payments for veterans, servicemembers, and their families who lived in Massachusetts for at least six months before entering the military and served during a wartime period or participated in a combat operation.
