The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of State and Community Energy Programs (SCEP) works with state and local organizations to significantly accelerate the deployment of clean energy technologies, catalyze local economic development and create jobs, reduce energy costs, and avoid pollution through place-based strategies involving a wide range of government, community, business and other stakeholders.

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has selected Rocky Mountain Institute and Southface Institute as the lead cohort facilitators and Sustainable Capital Advisors as the specialized lead to the EFG Technical Assistance Cohorts Program, which offers technical assistance to local, state, and tribal governments in and across the transportation, power, and building sectors. Providers will work alongside DOE to develop curriculum, training and collaboration opportunities, and provide direct support to EFG Phase 1 projects.
