关于我们
Maryland Office of Social Equity, an independent executive agency established by the Cannabis Reform Act of 2023, serves to promote economic opportunity and equity in Maryland’s adult-use cannabis market. Specifically, the Office of Social Equity – through programs, outreach, and advocacy – seeks to cultivate an adult-use cannabis market that encourages full participation from communities that have been disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs in order to positively impact those communities.

The Maryland Office of Social Equity is proud to work under a leader like Governor Wes Moore, who has been named to the TIME 100 list! This past weekend, the OSE team had the privilege of attending Black Cannabis Week in Philadelphia. The experience was impactful and enriching, featuring a variety of panels, insightful discussions, and numerous engaging events throughout the conference. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Black Cannabis team for inviting us to participate and for the opportunity to serve as a sponsor. One highlight of the weekend was when our Deputy Director, Courtney Davis addressed attendees at the policy breakfast. Her remarks were well-received and added significant value to the discussions surrounding cannabis policy. We are truly excited about the connections made and the knowledge gained during this remarkable event, and we look forward to participating in next year’s conference with renewed enthusiasm. #BlackCannabisWeek #MarylandEquity #BCW2024
