We recently hosted a “freelancer speed dating” event, inviting industry folks—everyone from writers & directors, to lighting & camera, to creative agencies & production companies—out for a night of networking beneath strings of paper hearts. One of our core values is “high tide raises all boats,” and we try to really stand behind that, prioritizing events that bolster the whole film community. It was a fun, cozy night, with snow falling outside, a sappy soundtrack playing inside, and innumerable connections made. Here’s to new collaborations and raising the tide, together! ?? It was such a great experience working with the team at DH to create these short videos on DUI prevention for the Washington Traffic Safety Commission. Collaborating with a standout team to share an important message—it's why we do what we do! Exciting to see these out in the world.

We're excited to welcome Kelsi Lindus as Offbeat's new producer (pictured here burning the midnight oil during a very candid, entirely unstaged moment at the office)! Originally from Whidbey Island, Kelsi comes to us with over twelve years of experience in film production in NYC. With a background in documentaries, she brings an ear for poetry and a passion for sharing human stories in surprising ways. Outside of work, you can find her reading, building forts with her nephews and niece, or long-distance walking—last year, she walked alone across Spain. We're thrilled to have you, Kelsi! Can't wait to see what we create together!
