It is ALWAYS a good day when TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK show up at our warehouse!! And a very special thank you to our friends at Central Catholic High School for the wonderful furniture donations! These dressers, beds, tables, chairs and lamps will soon be turning #HousesIntoHomes all over Pittsburgh! This month, OTF staff member Laura Barry had the opportunity to visit two California furniture banks during her travels to the Bay Area - Bay Area Furniture Bank and Make It Home Bay Area. While we all may operate a little bit differently, our reason for existing is the same - to reduce the pain and indignity of poverty by providing furniture for neighbors in need. And the support of generous donors and dedicated volunteers is what keeps us all going!
