This week we want to shine a light on Charlie! Charlie is a member of Meaningful Day Program in Asheboro and is the life of the party! Charlie brightens every room he walks into with his infectious smile and charisma! But, Charlie is also one of the hardest working people you will meet. When it comes time to work, Charlie is very serious and thorough with his work: completing tasks at exceptional speed! We are so thankful to serve Charlie and have him be apart of the OE Enterprises Family!!

Just a friendly reminder that OE Enterprises will be closed on Monday September 2nd in Recognition of Labor Day! We hope everyone has a great long weekend!

Our Meaningful Day Programs across Asheboro, Burlington and Hillsborough are all working to increase our individuals opportunities for community outings, community exploration and community integration. Last week, some of our individuals from Asheboro went out into the community to visit their favorite lunch spot! The ladies both ordered their own food and chose to bring it back to OE Enterprises to eat! Thank you to KFC in Asheboro for your hospitality and delicious food!

Here at OE Enterprises, we want everyone to have a voice, and for their voice to be heard! Our CEO, Amy Miller, initiated the CEO advisory committee. Here members of all three of our facilities meet with Amy to discuss current events, things that are going well, things that may need improving, and create a plan for the future! We want to give a huge thank you to all of the committee members who are helping to make OE Enterprises the best it can be! Below is a little description about each member:

This week, OE Enterprises would like to put the spot light on Tommy. Tommy has been attending our Meaningful Day Program in Orange County since 2010! Tommy's smile always fills the room and we are so lucky to be his provider of choice!

From time to time, North Carolina weather doesn't always play nice! During these times a team of senior management get together to discuss whether it is safe to keep OE Enterprises open, call for a delay and close entirely. If we decide to close or delay we will post on all of the following sites to spread the word as best we can! Please save a copy of this image or pin a copy to your fridge for safe keeping :)

In the interest of safety for our individuals and staff, OE Enterprises will be closed Thursday August 8th!

OE Enterprises would like to give a huge shoutout to Voices Together! Voices Together have been providing Music Therapy sessions to all 3 of our Meaningful Day Programs and they have been a huge hit! Our individuals are so excited to see the instructors each week, and take part in the sessions! We are very thankful to the Voices Together team for all they do for the individuals we serve and for all the individuals they provide services to in North Carolina!
