OE Construction Corp. attended a recent Transportation & Construction GIRL event to celebrate the incredible programs the group organizes and runs each year. It was a fantastic event, reflecting on past successes and looking ahead to the future, with great people in attendance. OE will be hosting a group of young women at our facility for a full-day experience in June 2025. Plus, mark your calendars for the big event in September 2025 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds—last year, over 1,700 young women participated in a day of interactive construction activities! OE Construction Corp. recently took a look back at the evolution of our #hardhats and #helmets. In 2024, we transitioned to the “helmet-style” hard hat, and wow—what a difference in comfort and safety! Over a decade ago, we used the old-style full-brim hard hats (white), then transitioned through another design before finally settling on the new helmet. This #ANSI Type II helmet provides superior head protection, is lightweight, and remains breathable in all temperatures. It’s tested for impacts to the top, front, side, and rear of the head. It took some convincing, but our #fieldcrews now prefer the new style! Hope to see you on a job site soon.

Meet the youngest member of the OE team, Sam Olson! He may be small, but he's got big dreams of operating heavy equipment. This little guy is all about big machines, dump trucks, and garbage trucks—living the dream from day one! 🚜🚛💪

Check out the new OE Construction Corp. #fueltruck, now available for use here in #Colorado! This type of fuel truck eliminates the need for HAZMAT and CDL driver requirements, offers better maneuverability on tight #jobsites, and is easier and safer to drive in heavy traffic conditions. We can't wait to get it on the road!

Working outdoors in the cold on a #construction site requires extra precautions to protect yourself from cold stress. This includes wearing proper layers of clothing, taking frequent breaks in warm areas, staying hydrated, and being aware of the risks of #hypothermia and #frostbite. OE Construction Corp. does not operate #heavyequipment unless the temperature is 15 degrees or higher. Additionally, the crew must take extra precautions to prevent cold stress. Stay warm out there!
