Odyssey House Louisiana wears pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Louisiana has one of the highest breast cancer death rates in the country, and with regular screenings, breast cancer can often be detected and treated early. It’s vital that we continue to raise awareness year-round—not just for ourselves, but for our loved ones, clients, and the community. Here are a few reasons why people wear pink: ?????????Support for those affected:?Showing solidarity with survivors and those currently battling breast cancer. ?????????Encouraging screening:?Reminding everyone of the importance of regular check-ups and early detection. ?????????Spreading awareness:?Highlighting the need for continued education on breast health. Visit the OHL CHC for breast cancer screenings and mammogram referrals today. Call us at (504) 383-8559 to schedule your breast cancer screening!
