关于我们

The Odessa Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer business organization providing leadership to further develop and market the city of Odessa, Ector County, and the Permian Basin. The Chamber unites business organizations, individuals, and professional firms to create a unique central agency working to improve business and build a better community. More than 80 percent of the membership is comprised of small companies interested in prospering and creating a healthy environment in which to conduct business. Most importantly, the Chamber is a dynamic group of citizens who realize that they can accomplish more collectively than any one business can do individually.

  • Showing our elected officials some love at our inaugural Politics & Pastries reception! Last week we hosted our first-ever Politics & Pastries event at the Odessa Chamber office to allow members to enjoy some pastries and coffee and have the chance to meet elected officials who represent our community. “This was the first time we’ve hosted this type of event where we honored all of the elected officials who represent Odessa and Ector County.? We wanted to show our appreciation for their tremendous time and effort as they represent their constituents in their respective organizations,” said Renee’ Earls, President & CEO of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce.? A few attendees included State Representative Brooks Landgraf, The Honorable Cal Hendrick, Ector County Judge Dustin Fawcett and other representatives from the City of Odessa, Texas, Ector County, Odessa College Board of Trustees, Ector County ISD Board, Ector County Hospital District Board and the Ector County Utilities District, as well as a representative from Congressman August Pfluger’s office.?

  • Introducing our 2025 Citizen of the Year, Ted Hogan! With a career spanning decades in the oilfield services industry, Ted Hogan established himself as a visionary entrepreneur and dedicated community leader. As the founder and former CEO of Light Tower Rentals, Inc., he built a thriving rental service company with 17 branches across multiple states, employing over 600 people before selling the company and retiring in 2017. His leadership and expertise continue to shape the industry through his roles with MHRT International Oilfield Services, RTB Ventures LLC, Freedom First Inc., and Boot Heel Management, LLC. Beyond business, Ted has a passion for service and philanthropy. A lifetime member of the NRA, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Safari Club International, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, he actively supports conservation and industry organizations. He also plays a pivotal role in the Permian Basin International Oil Show, UTPB President’s Council, and numerous civic and educational boards.
